DEEP TIME WALKING
Step back in time on a transformative and rejuvenating walk
Deep Time Walk is a transformative journey through 4.6 billion years of Earth's history via a 4.6 km guided walk. It's an invitation to see the world differently, one that encourages positive action. Come and immerse yourself in time as we walk from the origins of our planet to the present day.
4.6 km to cover the 4.6 billion years of the Earth's history
Cross the Earth's 4.6 billion years at a rate of one million years per metre walked!
The Deep Time Walking experience allows walkers to connect with the extraordinary history of our planet and the evolution of living things. From the origins of our planet to the present day, the route follows the major revolutions in the earth's deep history: the creation of the earth, the formation of the solar system and the moon, the appearance of the oceans, the first forms of life and multicellular evolution, the Cambrian explosion, plate tectonics, mass extinctions, the dinosaurs and, at the very end, humanity.
It's a step-by-step process that allows us to develop systems thinking inspired by nature.
The interconnection of all forms of life, cooperation, the interdependence of ecosystems, time, adaptation, resilience...
Deep Time walking creates a time and a space to think and feel differently in the heart of an inspiring environment, for a creative and profound exploration.
